the bluebird barber shop

He has never liked it, so we decided to make a game of it.

He called and made an appointment with BB at the Bluebird Barber Shop.

He shook hands and introduced himself as Clark Kent -

but 'ou can call me Superman.

He took his place and began telling us about his friends.

He talked about knowing Iron Man, whose favorite food is steak -  'cause he wich,

and Thor - he loves hambugers,

and Captain America's favorite - cheese pizza.

He told us how they come to his house and play games with him.

But then . . .

the fun was over.

Do you think he didn't want a haircut?

I;m going with hair has nerve endings and it hurts to get a hair cut. I really like his haircut...quite the handsome young man!

Trying again ...

When Daniel was younger than Max is now, taking him to get a hair cut was mostly a wrestling match. He would scream and cry and kick and make a huge scene that usually ended in two more people wishing they could throw as big a fit as he did (me and the "lucky" hairdresser). On more than one occasion I had people in the shop looking at us like they wanted to call child services.

Just be glad you can hide in your house for this!
