What the Word? Wednesday

It's been a while but here's a new word for What the Word? Wednesday.

Maxster is getting so much better with his speech that finding a word can be difficult.

But . . .

there are still some words . . .

Yeah, what's that word?

Remember, comment all guesses and check back tomorrow for the answer.

And thanks for playing.

Penny and her six got it right - corduroy!

Congrats and I love you guys!

Donna - love the I love Miss Donna part.

What the Word? Wednesday

It's been a long time since we've had a What the Word? Wednesday.

But the Maxster's back with a pretty good one.

Remember, comment on your guess and I'll post the winner tomorrow.

I knew it would stump y'all - cause it stumped me - and I knew what they were building.  Maxster says in only a way that he can -

We've been practicing our S's.

Emily got it right.  Smurf Clubhouse.  But there may have been a little unfairness going on there, since she was at our house.  But then again she understands him well, so who knows.

He's been wearing that hat since we cut his hair.  He says his head is cold.  He even wears it to bed.

Thanks for playing and maybe I'll see you same time next week.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is back and begs this question-

Are you better at this than Maxster's daddy is?

It's been a while, so in case you've forgotten or are new to Wednesday's -

I'll hold all guesses until tomorrow.  Check back then for the answer.

Daddy, what's a - - -

Jennifer got it first.  Congrats!  What's a video camera?

Thanks for playing, Maxster will be back in a couple of weeks with something harder for y'all.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday welcomes you back.

This week Maxster is kinda sing-songing his words, but it's not a song.

He is saying one of Izzy's favorite things to watch.

Good luck, and thanks for playing.

Comment all guesses and check back here tomorrow for the answer.

Have a wonderful hump day, from Maxster to you.

Emme got it right with America's Got Talent.  We don't really do any Disney shows, sorry guys.

Y'all really should hear him sing it with his guitar and foot tapping.  There are no words except those, so it gets a little repeditive.  Maybe I should put on a show - say $200 a ticket?

Pennies, that is.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is back with a song.

I think everyone will know this one.

Enjoy.

My nephew, Jonathan, was quick on this one.  High five, Jonathan - you are exactly right - Victory in Jesus.

Katie and her two precious bugs commented all the correct lyrics.

Since this was taped Maxster has added new lyrics.  He now also sings,

He taught me what He was doling.

Thanks for playing.  See 'ya next week.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is back with a vengence.

This week will stump you all.  Maxster is in fine form with this word - if you can call it that.

I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say no one will get this right.

Well, maybe Emme.

Good luck, and remember I'll hold all guesses until tomorrow.

Check back here, same time same blog, for the answer.

Nobody's even close - so here's a little hint.  You follow it and it doesn't start with a G.

That one really wasn't fair of me.  He butchers that word.  If I had not had the help of props when he first said it I never would have figured it out.

Instructions.

It should make everyone feel better to know none of his sisters could guess it either.

Thanks for playing, y'all are alot of fun.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday may turn into What the Song? Wednesday.

Here's Maxster singing . . .

Gotta get all the words.

By the way, anyone gotta ?

Comment all your guesses and check back right here tomorrow.

Penny S. almost got it right with the help of Christopher.  But . . .

Maxster doesn't say Gotta Be, like the song says, he says Gotta Pee.

I can't convince him that's not right 'cause in the world according to Max Larry the Cucumber has got to pee.

Thanks for playing!

And then comes Katie and her two precious youngin's.  A late congratulations for getting every word.  There's something about little ones understanding another little one's understanding of the potty.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is getting harder and harder.

Maxster's speaking is clearer and finding a word is difficult.  We may have run the course.

He did make his first peanut butter sandwich, without asking, a couple of days ago.

Enjoy - and please know that if you ever visit my house, I won't feed you peanut butter.

What the Word? Wednesday

Instead of a word today, I'm sharing a video made at my friend Donna's house yesterday of Maxster learning to swim.

It's a brave new world for you, my son.

And you are a brave little boy.

Wasn't it a grand day and a grand way to spend it?  Not the least being grand friends.

You're almost there.

What the Word? Wednesday

It's What the Word? Wednesday time again.

My, time flies.

You get the word and then an extra treat - a song.  I told you Maxster likes to sing.

A little hint, believe me, lou need one.

It has nothing to do with Barney.  It is one word and starts with N and ends with n.

Comment all guesses and check back here tomorrow - same time, same place - for the answer.  Don't forget, I'll hold all comments till the end of the day.

Aunt Janice got it - Neosporin.  He had a bobo or two and it took a few minutes to figure out what he wanted, so, of course, it became a What the Word.

Janice - it must be a TeeTexasTot thing.

What the Word? Wednesday

It's What the Word? Wednesday time again.

Since singing is Maxster's favorite past time lately, you get to enjoy another song this week.

Please don't ask me how I understand his language without the help of a tune.  I just can't answer that without the simple answer of it's a Mama thing.

Just like it was a Mama thing for most of you.

Post all guesses and check back right here tomorrow for the answer.

Wonder who can guess ALL words correctly?

So sorry I'm late on the winner - I forgot.

Katie over at An Every Day Adventure got it right.  All the words were perfect.  Bet she had a little help from those darlins' of hers.

Janice - so close, but no cigar.

Thanks everyone for playing.  Be sure to come back next week, Max has the perfect word to stump you all.

What the Word? Wednesday

Welcome back to What the Word? Wednesday.

A little hint - it is another of Maxster's favorite TV shows.

Remember, comment all guesses here.  I will hold all comments till the end of the day - just to be fair.

Here goes. (It became a movie).

An absolute must read today.  Wounded Spirits: How to Stop the Bullying

Maxster says, Curious George, Curious George, Curious George.

Thanks for playing.

What the Word? Wednesday

Welcome back to What the Word? Wednesday.

What Max has to say this time is not hard, the tune will give it away.  There's a cute story behind it that I'll tell tomorrow when I post the answer.

Enjoy.

Comment on your guess and check right back here tomorrow.  Remember, I'll hold all comments until the end of the day.

Alright, I was wrong, this wasn't an easy one.  Maybe he's out of tune, I don't sing so . . .

Many of you got the sunshine word right.

Maxster is saying, Walking on sunshine, walking on sunshine, woa. Don't it feel good.

That video is actually the first time he sings, Don't it feel good. Most of the time he sings, It don't feel good. Walking on the sun would not feel good, he says. Cause it reely hot, Mama.

Just for your pleasure I'm attaching another video of him singing one of his favorite songs.  If it doesn't give you pleasure you need to check your adorable meter, cause it's broken.

Yeah, a little prejudice.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is back.

This is short and not very sweet.  Maxster was being a monster and not wanting to cooperate.  I had to promise to "lea me 'lone."

I feel very confident no one will get this.  That is the point, isn't it, to stump y'all?

Penny, if you do, I'll drive eight hours and bring you a Dove bar.  You and I really are too much alike, you know?  Bloggers everywhere give great expensive gifts away - but you and me, we'd always settle for chocolate.

Post all guesses right here and check this same post tomorrow for the answer.

I have successfully succeeded in stumping y'all.  Emily didn't comment, or I probably wouldn't have.

Max is saying You're Welcome.

Thanks for playing, see 'ya next week.

What the Word? Wednesday

Welcome back to What the Word? Wednesday.

Today is more than just a word or phrase - are you ready?

Today you get a whole song.

Please, calm down.

This is the first song Maxster has sang all the way through by himself.

No - it's not Jesus Loves Me.  As a matter of fact, it's not spiritual at all.  We are working on his priorities around here.

As usual, post all guesses and check back tomorrow - same place, same time.

Looks like Emily watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - or understands Maxster.

This is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  Come inside, it's fun inside.  It's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

See 'ya next week.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday welcomes you back.

Here goes . . .

As you noticed, Max doesn't want that cookie, he wants a chocolate cookie.  He's a boy after his mama's heart.

Post all guesses and check back tomorrow to see if you correctly guessed what Maxster had to say.

Sugar, sugar sounds right but no cookie for y'all.

Maxster says, quite often I might add,

You silly, silly, Mama.

What the Word? Wednesday

Is it Wednesday again, already?  My, how time flies.  It was just Wednesday yesterday, I think.

Welcome back to What the Word? Wednesday.

This is a good one.  Maxster doesn't like what?

I wish you luck, you're gonna need it.  Not sure what the Sunkist bottle means.  Don't read anything into it.

Post all guesses and check back here tomorrow.  And a great humpday to all.

Both of my sisters got it right, but I have to admit there was a little family unfairness going on there.  I love my sisters, I hope you love yours if you have one.  There's nothing like a sister.

I don't like chicken enchiladas.

What's new, Maxster, there's hardly any food you do like.

Thanks for playing, see 'ya next week.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday.
What the Word? Wednesday.
What the Word? Wednesday.

Three is a good luck number, it's also his age, so Maxster says his word three times for you.

Won't help.  You are all doomed this week.

Ignore all the going to Borders talk and stick to the first word, which he says three times.

Won't help.

Post all guesses and check back here tomorrow for the answer.

Max, What's That Word?

Disgusting.  Disgusting.  Disgusting.

When I first heard this word I never figured it out.  Izzy was getting him to say it and she had to tell me what it was.  It sounds like he has a mouth full of something.

I knew it was hard, but y'all were getting too good for me.

Thanks for playing, I'll try to take it easy on you next week.  Or, maybe I'll give you the one he said today that I didn't think we would ever figure out.

Can you show me, Max?  Can you eat it?  Do you play with it?  Etc.

What the Word? Wednesday

Welcome Back.  It's that fun time of the week that jump starts hump-day.  And this one is . . .

tough.

What the Word? Wednesday and Maxster are back.

Brace yourself.

Yes, he snorts at the end; but the question is, what are the first two words he says before he embarrasses his mama on the web?

The snort doesn't really have anything to do with the answer.  It's not Sally the pig or anything like that.  Maybe that's 'cause we don't know a pig named Sally, if we did . . .

It's tough.

Yep, he says that's silly.  Sandra and Emily got it first, but everyone got it right.  Looks like I'll never stump y'all again.

See 'ya next week.  I've got a lot of work to do on the perfect word.

Speak, Max, Speak.  Did you know that Max is the number one dog name in the U. S.?  Has been for years.

What the Word? Wednesday

What the Word? Wednesday is tough this week.

You are going to need a prayer and a row-boat.  I actually dare any of you to get it.

From Maxster to you all, he loves . . .

As always, comment your guesses and check back on this same post tomorrow for the answer.

I thought that one was hard but I can't stump some of you.  Yes, it is sugar cookies.  Donna was first again.

The end got her, though.  He is saying, I wa it on the puter - which translates to I watch it on the computer.
Drawing of me losing my cool courtesy of budding artist, Izzy.

Have a dressed up day!
